FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No. While much of my work resonates with ambitious women, I also work with men and young people (from age 8).
What matters most is not age or gender, but a willingness to engage in the process and commit to meaningful mindset shifts. I tailor my coaching to the individual, using tools such as EFT and personalised mindset work to support confidence, focus, and self-trust.
If you’re ready to move beyond fear, self-doubt, or hesitation, whether that shows up in skiing or everyday life, you’re very welcome here.

No, I don’t only work with skiers.
While skiing is a key focus of my work, and where I’m best known, my coaching supports people in many areas of life where confidence, self-trust, or mindset feels challenged.
I work primarily with ambitious women, and also with men and young people, who want to move beyond self-doubt, fear, or limiting beliefs. That might show up on the slopes, in leadership or career transitions, with public speaking, or during moments of personal change.
My approach is always tailored to the individual. Skiers are a specialism, but the work itself is about building clarity, confidence, and self-trust, skills that apply far beyond the mountain.

While ski instruction focuses on technique, our sessions build mental and emotional resilience. I help you address mindset and confidence challenges, ensuring you enjoy skiing without the fear.

A mindset coach helps individuals develop a positive, growth-oriented mindset by addressing limiting beliefs, negative thought patterns, and unproductive behaviours. The goal is to empower clients to achieve their personal and professional goals through mental and emotional transformation.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a powerful method for emotional healing that also provides relief from many physical symptoms. It’s built on a groundbreaking discovery that challenges traditional psychological beliefs. EFT is based on the idea that “all negative emotions are caused by disruptions in the body’s energy system.”
EFT works through a simple yet scientifically-backed technique: tapping with your fingertips on specific points of the body. This process helps to restore balance to energy pathways that become disrupted when we encounter emotionally distressing situations. While the memory of the event remains unchanged, the emotional intensity around it diminishes or disappears altogether. This effect is often long-lasting, and as emotional healing takes place, cognitive shifts in a positive direction naturally follow.
How does it work?
EFT is a form of energy therapy similar to acupuncture, but instead of using needles, you tap on key meridian points of the body. Think of these meridians as energy channels or rivers. Emotional or physical issues can cause blockages or disruptions in these rivers.
EFT combines the physical action of tapping on meridian points with mental focus on the issue at hand. This tapping sends kinetic energy through the body’s energy system, clearing blockages and allowing energy to flow smoothly once again.
-
Absolutely. A big part of our work is equipping you with practical tools you can use in the moment to stay grounded and centred, whether facing a challenging slope or navigating life.
-
My approach is kind and playful. My goal is to meet you where you are and for coaching to be a fun experience, as much as it is a deep and powerful one. There’s sometimes intense feelings in a coaching session, but typically, there’s also a lot of laughter.

Mindset coaching is a good fit if you feel capable and driven, yet something still feels stuck or heavier than it should.
You might already be doing “all the right things”, and still notice hesitation, self-doubt, or a sense that you’re managing life rather than fully enjoying it. This work is especially powerful if you’re open to self-reflection, willing to try practical tools, and ready to take responsibility for creating change rather than looking for a quick fix.
If you’re curious, committed, and ready to trust yourself more fully, mindset coaching is likely to support you well.

The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum, then move to bi-weekly or monthly sessions as they progress. The sessions need to manageable for your schedule but frequent enough to maintain effectiveness.
