When Holding It All Together Stops Working
There’s a particular type of woman who finds her way to my work.
She’s driven.
Ambitious.
Focused.
Highly capable.
She’s used to being the one who holds things together - at work, at home, in life.
From the outside, she looks confident and in control.
And yet… she feels stuck.
Sometimes it’s a situation. Sometimes it’s a mindset.
Often it’s the uncomfortable sense that if she loosens her grip even slightly, something might unravel.
So she manages.
Pushes on.
Keeps going.
And quietly wonders why, despite everything she’s achieved, it still feels harder than it should.
What I am absolutely sure of is this:
Nothing is wrong with you.
Nothing is broken.
You don’t need fixing.
This is usually the moment when old strategies - self-control, self-reliance, staying strong - have reached their limit.
And that moment isn’t failure. It’s an invitation.
If this resonates, you don’t need to force change or give up control overnight.
You already have the answers within - sometimes you just need the right space to access them.
A simple conversation is often where that begins.
